Amir Zarrabi, DDS

Dr. Amir Zarrabi has always had an interest in the biological sciences. Upon graduating from the University of Houston with a BS in Biology, he decided to pursue a Masters in Evolutionary Biology, focusing on harvester and fire ants. However, one day he had the realization that he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life working long lonely hours in the lab with ants. He longed for a more stimulating work environment, along with meaningful interactions with people, so he decided enter the more appealing and creative field of dentistry. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2008.In his free time, Dr. Zarrabi enjoys the outdoors, traveling, hiking, camping, reading, photography, following Formula 1 racing, and cycling. He has participated in the MS150 since 2011 and plans to continue doing so.

Monica, RDA

Monica was born in Nuevo Laredo and moved to Houston when she was young. She graduated Houston Community College with an Associates Degree in Science. She has been a Dental Assistant for the past 10 years and loves what she does. She likes to take continuing education courses to learn new things in the dental field. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and little boy. They like to travel to visit family members, and they enjoy outdoor activities, especially water parks, amusement parks, and going to the zoo

Claudia, RDA

Claudia grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from College of Lake County. She moved to Dallas in 2010 and started working for dental clinics in the marketing department. Later, she moved to Houston to be near family and become a dental assistant. She loves what she does: taking care of patients, putting their needs first, assisting the doctor, and working as a team. Her hobbies include anything outdoors like fishing, knee-boarding, horseback riding, skating, running, amusement parks, water parks, and traveling with friends and family. She is always up for an adventure!

Ami, RDH

Ami is a compassionate and thorough dental hygienist whose focus is on quality care and patient education. As a self-proclaimed “tooth nerd”, and graduate of The University of Texas School of Dentistry, she continues to expand her knowledge and techniques by attending monthly education courses. Ami grew up in California near both the ocean and mountains. Although she has lived in Houston now for quite some time, she has never lost her passion for the great outdoors. Her hobbies include running, climbing, and photography. She is also big into philanthropy and community service. Her heart is in giving back via dental education and services, and running for a cause.
