Dr. Amir Zarrabi has always had an interest in the biological sciences. Upon graduating from the University of Houston with a BS in Biology, he decided to pursue a Masters in Evolutionary Biology, focusing on harvester and fire ants. However, one day he had the realization that he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life working long lonely hours in the lab with ants. He longed for a more stimulating work environment, along with meaningful interactions with people, so he decided enter the more appealing and creative field of dentistry. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2008. In his free time, Dr. Zarrabi enjoys the outdoors, traveling, hiking, camping, reading, photography, following Formula 1 racing, and cycling.

Sam joined us in January 2023. She grew up in Crosby. Her hobbies include reading and taking pictures.

Helen, our Hygienist, joined our team in summer of 2022. She grew up in Houston and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and biking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She also has a love of animals, especially dogs.

Natalia joined our team at the beginning of 2021. She grew up in Houston. One of her hobbies is doing pencil and paint drawings. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, going to parks, and bike riding.

Vanessa grew up in Port Isabel. She joined our team in January 2023. She enjoys fishing and spending time with her boyfriend and her dogs.

Christy grew up in La Grange, Texas. She studied Anthropology and Studio Arts. She was Office Manager when Mint Dental Works first opened and is now Business Manager. Her interests include gardening, cooking, traveling, camping, yoga, music, reading, writing, and swing dancing. She and Dr. Zarrabi have 2 cats, 2 Italian Greyhounds, and a Shih Tzu mix.
